SawStop 3 HP Industrial Cabinet Saw Unboxing & Assembly
In this episode, I unbox and assemble the SawStop 3HP Industrial Cabinet Saw. Be sure to read the owners manuals. It’s a good idea to remove everything from the box and spread all of the parts out on a table. Take inventory of everything and make sure you have all the parts outlined in the assembly instructions. We’ll start with flushing and tightening down the extension wing.
Under The Floor Woodworking Dust Collection System
In this episode, I review my dust collector setup in the shop. The ceilings in the barn are only 8‘2“ high, so I decided to run the dust collection under the floor. A dust collection system can be very noisy, so running the piping system beneath the floor and main unit in a separate area can really cut down on the noise and the mess.
Outdoor Kitchen Winterize and Update
built the outdoor kitchen four years ago. Every year I blow out the water lines and cover the kitchen for the winter season but the counter finish is beginning to fail under the weather. This is a better spring project, so for now, I’ll blow out the water lines and securely cover everything with a tarp for the winter.
Diresta Knife with Rosewood and Epoxy Handle
I and a few of the makers from the Makers Mob made handles for the Jimmy Diresta knife. I made my handle out of Rosewood White Oak and West System epoxy. I don’t use epoxy too often, but this small project should be fine.
