Hi Everyone,

With spring here and Mother’s Day just around the corner I thought I’d create a bundle of plans that might inspire you to build something special for someone special. If you’re looking for a fun and rewarding woodworking project, building a planter stand is a great place to start. Not only is it a practical and stylish way to display your plants, but it’s also a great way to learn new woodworking skills and techniques. In this video tutorial, Jon Peters will show you how to build a beautiful and functional planter stand from scratch using simple tools and materials.

The planter in my most recent project video is designed around a plastic insert so it can be used inside or out. In this video, Jon Peters will guide you through the entire process of building a planter stand, from selecting the right wood and cutting the pieces to assembling and finishing the stand. Along the way, he’ll share expert tips and tricks for working with wood, including how to measure and cut accurately, how to join pieces together, and how to apply a beautiful finish.

By the end of the video, you’ll have a beautiful and functional planter stand that you can be proud of. Whether you’re an experienced woodworker or just starting out, this project is a great way to build your skills and create something beautiful for your home or garden.

The plastic insert will also add to the longevity of the planter if you decide to use it outside.

This planter is made with Sepal wood and I used pocket hole joinery to make the project more accessible to more wood workers. If you own a domino and want to build it that way the plans and cut list will work the same. I hope you enjoyed this project video and it inspires you to spend more time in the shop.

If you’re looking for a fun and rewarding woodworking project, building a planter stand is a great choice. With this video tutorial from Jon Peters, you’ll have all the guidance and inspiration you need to build a beautiful and functional stand from scratch. So why wait? Grab your tools and get started today!

Be good, Jon
