My friend Peder is an avid fisherman here at the Jersey shore and this is one of his Lures. He lent it to me a few years back and instead of using it to go fishing I made this painting. Still life with striped bass fishing lure.
The frame for this painting is made of reclaimed white oak and came from the Pitney Farm in Mendham New Jersey. When my friends at the Real Antique Wood Mill dismantled the barn I stopped by to shoot a video and picked up a few boards. One of the boards became the frame for this painting.
