It’s always best to have two spray guns as part of your system…one for spraying paint and the second gun for spraying clear finishes. Ninety percent of the time that I’m spraying finish, I’m spraying lacquer since lacquer is just a very easy finish to work with. It dries quickly and gives a great finish. This is the process I use for cleaning my spray gun after using it with lacquer.
