Every week on Wednesday, we’ll be posting a photo of the week to share some of the action in the shop, studio, or around the barn….or just an interesting picture and short story from everyday life. This week’s photo is of the “Swarm Trap” Jon built a few weeks ago:
“I built this Swarm Trap in early June when my bees first swarmed but never hung it in a tree. Instead, I just left it on these sawhorses at the corner of my outdoor work area. It’s been really hot the past few days in New Jersey and today I noticed a few bees flying in and out of the trap entrance. Who knows…maybe I’ll have a swarm there tomorrow. I’ll keep you posted.”
