This painting is of the path at Timolat woods facing east towards Huber woods. This painting has a little different feel than most of my paintings as the brushstrokes are very short and thick with paint… definitely a more impressionist feel. Painting small like this allows you to take chances because you can treat the painting in a more casual manner. I’m not sure if I would like this painting on a large scale but at this size I think it works.
