In this episode will take a tour of some of the work I’ve been doing to the shop over the last few months. The shop was a bit dark so I added two more American Green Lights LED shop light fixtures over the table saw and outfeed table. I also installed American green light LED strip lights in the new shed space. These LED shop lights should brighten my workspace nicely without the “buzzing” that you get with fluorescent lights.
I’ll rearrange some of my tools and equipment to fit the new space and cover some of the insulation, heating and electrical work that I’ve done. We repaired some water damaged to the old framing and updated the electrical. I think this new work area will be a great fit to the shop.
I’m very excited to have a new Saw Stop table saw in the shop. The plan is to run the two table saws face-to-face. I built a custom sled just to get the saw from the curb to the shop and with a little help from my son, Jack, we manage to get the new saw through the door.
