How To Repurpose old Wood and Build a New Deck

I built this small deck with repurposed Ipe Wood. The wood for this project was once a picnic table top and was in pretty sad shape. The nice thing about Ipe wood is it seems to last forever. After a little cleaning and sanding it was perfect for the small platform deck I wanted to make for under the planter. Having a small deck under the planter will keep the legs from rotting and make the area look neat.
