How to Make A Wooden Hose Holder

I made this handy wooden hose holder from a 4′ piece of 5/4″ Ipe wood left over from a deck I built a few years ago. This is a pretty simple but satisfying woodworking project that will help get your garden hose organized and off the lawn. Be sure to pre-drill the screw holes when using Ipe or other dense hard woods to prevent your screws from breaking when assembling the hose holder.

I’ve been using the lightweight zero-G Hose from Teknor Apex for the past few years and and am really satisfied with the performance and durability.
