Here’s a step-by-step video guide with complete design plans and a material list for making this sign post project. I used some scrap pieces of Azek to wrap the post but you can used exterior plywood or MDO instead and finish it the same way. You can also modify the plans slightly if you’re installing a mailbox but the trim work and install process is exactly the same.
