This table is made of solid Cherry. It’s designed to to be used as a hallway table, entrance table, or sofa table. The wood grain in the drawer fronts is continuous with the apron and the drawer pulls are made of Bubinga. I added a small bead at the bottom of the apron and tapered legs as a design element. The front of the top has a slight curve and a 5° downward bevel.

In addition to the how-to video, I’ve included professional Design Plans for this project.  You can download the plans HERE.

The solid Cherry table in its now home.

Detail of the drawers that I fastened with trim screws and plugged with a walnut dowel….these add a nice design element and offers a nice alternative to dovetails.

The Bubinga drawer pulls add a nice contrast to the Cherry.
