In this episode, I update the exterior of my shed to hold and organize my gardening tools. The project includes a simple stone platform and a variety of tool hanging brackets. I have a few new products from Corona Tools, which have been great! Be sure to check them out with the link below.
First, I clean out the area and prep the platform with 3/4″ bluestone and I use some composite decking, leftover from another project, to cap the pressure treated frame. By adding a layer of chicken wire under the stone, I can keep animals from digging under the shed.
Then, I install a variety of brackets to hang and organize my growing collection of gardening tools. The slight overhang from the roof soffit will keep everything out of the weather.
Finally, I paint some of the brackets to match the shed and set my tools in an orderly layout for easy access and storage. This is an easy project that really helps keep my gardening tools neat and organized and adds some critter protection to the shed.
