I used Garnica’s Maple Plywood on this project and it has a really consistent Poplar core and nice Maple faces that make it ideal for furniture projects. Here’s the how-to video and free design plans for the chairs that you can download and print as a PDF. It helps to draw the chair parts full size on the sheet of plywood before you start cutting to get an idea of the actual dimensions.
