For me, a biscuit joiner is a must have tool in the workshop. I use a biscuit joiner on more than half of the projects that I make in the workshop. When using a biscuit joiner, the biscuits really don’t add much additional strength to the wood joint, but they are a big help in aligning the boards and making glue ups much easier.
