About the painting.
I went on a walk this morning to Huber Woods park in NJ. This is the view looking south over the Navesink River. The painting is oil on canvas mounted on birch plywood. The frame is made of reclaimed Douglas fir.The wood was left over from the altar I built for all Saints Episcopal Church. The Church was damaged in Hurricane Sandy and the builder John Tim gave me the floor joists to build the altar for the new church I used the leftover wood to make molding for frames.
