Learn how to make lap joints and the walnut base for the Mid Century modern cabinet I’m building. I like to start a furniture project with a small design drawing and then make a full scale drawing to get the dimensions and cut list. I always leave the design plans open in case something needs to be adjusted during the building process. In this case, I decided to move the legs in a bit more than originally designed to get the piece a more dynamic and modern look.
