Here’s a quick video and some pictures showing how to sharpen a spade to create a machete shovel for making quick work of brush in the yard.
The machete shovel is perfect for chopping down this big brush pile
A few seconds on the grinder creates a nice edge on two sides. Someone suggested adding in teeth to the third side.
A small contained fire to burn the brush pile and it’s all clear.
