In the studio, Skateboard Art & a few tips on laminating plexiglass or formica Mar 7, 2013 | In The Studio, Woodworking | 2 comments 2 Comments susy on 06/23/2013 at 2:18 AM Hi Jon I have just recently discovered you on YouTube learning about encaustic painting and since your videos are so informative and inspiring I gave it a try this week..it certainly is interesting and you just don’t know what is going to happen. I enjoy this reverse painting video too. Could you give details on how you did the actual painting part…how did you transfer the image, what type of plexglass (clear I guess) and especially what procedure and type of paint do you use for it. I like the simplicity of it and the strong graphic abstract shape it creates. Thanks for any info you could send. Keep up the great teaching!
