How to Clean Oil Paint Brushes Sep 23, 2014 | Tools & Tips | 1 comment 1 Comment Richard Incontro on 09/24/2014 at 2:43 AM Enjoy your videos, am an old plein air painter and like most I HATE cleaning brushes. Recently discovered this degreaser cleaner at of all place the Dollar Store and yes it is a dollar..called Ausome. All I can say is whoever invented this stuff named it right. It is good for all kinds of things but it literally brought old paint brushes that I thought were goners back to life. And when you think your brushes are clean…well you cannot believe what comes out of a “clean” brush. I squirt some of this on my brushes, pass them over a sponge a few times, rinse and a final quickie with some Dawn..it is effortless and I don’t put off cleaning brushes any more. Give it a shot, hope it helps you. PS from the looks of you, enough with the bees my friend! Log in to Reply Submit a Comment Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
